Many instructors have already tried recording feedback for assignments and making video announcements, but now, until June 30, 2025, they can record videos directly inside of documents!
(Note: At the end of 2025, All videos recorded will be preserved, but unless KCKCC adopts this solution permanently, new video recording won't be allowed.)
You'll start by creating a new document, and then clicking Audio/Video.
Similar to Panopto, you can choose to record your camera, audio, screen, or a combination.
There will be a three second countdown, so you can be sure to look polished and professional, (or just put down your coffee).
After you stop recording, the video will upload and you can preview what you've recorded (deleting if it turns out you have lettuce in your teeth) and edit the video title.
After you save, automatic audio captioning for your video is available.
Like all other content blocks, you can rearrange and resize these videos after they are created.
