How to Add Engage to Your Teams App

Desktop App
  1. Open the Teams app.

  2. From within the Teams app, click on the “+ App” icon on the left side of the window.

  3. Once the “+ App” icon has been clicked on, you will be taken to an app store area of sorts. From within the store, click on the search bar in the upper left corner of the app.

  4. From within the search bar, type the word “Engage”.

  5. As you type in the word “Engage”, the apps that appear on the right side of the app window will start to change.

  6. Click on the app that says, “Viva Engage”.

  7. Once you have clicked on the app, a pop-up window will appear. Click on the "Open" button.

  8. The pop-up window will change in size and shape. Click on the “Open” button again.

  9. The “Viva Engage” app will now open in Teams, at the bottom of the apps list on the left side of the Teams app. You can now interact with the Engage app.

  10. If you would like to pin the app to the side apps list, right click out of the Engage app, and a drop-down menu will appear.

  11. From within the drop-down menu, click on the “Pin” option. The app will be pinned to the left apps column.

  12. To move the Engage app, simply click and drag the app to the location on the column where you would like the app to be.ke the app to be.



  13. You are now ready to start using Engage.

Online Teams App
  1. Go to the college website: https://www.kckcc.edu/index.html 

  2. From the KCKCC website, click on the “Login” button on the upper right corner of the webpage.

  3. After clicking the “Login” button, a side panel will appear. Click on the “Office 365” link.

  4. You will now be taken to the M365 Copilot page. From this page, you will need to click on the “Teams” app. There is a chance that if the app does not appear on your apps list on the left side of the page that you will need to add the Teams app.

  5. The browser version of Teams will now open.

  6. In order to add the “Engage” app to the browser version of Teams, you will need to follow the same steps that need to be followed to add the Engage app to the desktop version of Teams. Please note that if you have already added Engage to the desktop app, the Engage app will also appear in the apps list in the browser version. If the app is not already in the app list, click on the “+ App” icon on the left side of the window.
