How to Access Microsoft Word

This guide will show you how to access the online version of Microsoft Word.

1. Go to the college’s website “https://www.kckcc.edu/”.

    


2. Click on the red “Log In” button.

    


3. A drop-down menu will appear. Click on the “Office 365” option.

      


4. If you are not already signed into your KCKCC account on the web browser you are using, you may need to sign in. Once you have signed into the website, the website will then continue to load the rest of the Microsoft 365 information. If you are already signed in on another tab, then this step can be skipped.

    


5. After clicking on the “Office 365” button, you will be taken to a Copilot Chat page. On this page, you will need to click on the “Apps” button in the lower left corner of the page.

    


6. After clicking on the “Apps” button, a pop-out menu will appear. Click on the “Word” option. This will take you to the online version of Word.

    


7. You will now be taken to the online version of Word. Here you are free to begin your work. If you would like to open a blank document, click on the “Create blank document” button.

    


8. You will be taken to a blank document that you can start working in.
