Some courses may require you to create and submit a video using the Panopto system.
Here are the steps to complete this tasks.
1. Locate the assignment in the course which has the Panopto Student Video Submission Assignment.
2. Use the link in the instructions titled "click here to open your personal folder" to access your Panopto account.
3. Now that you are in your personal folder, you can view your videos, or create new one.
To create a new one, select the "Create" option near the top left of the page.
4. The create options become available and you will have a few options.
- You can use Panopto for Windows (or Mac if you are on a Mac)
- Requires a download and install
- Panopto Capture
- Browser based, no download or installation required
- Upload Media
- If you already have a video you would like to upload to Panopto
5. Choose which option you would like to use and record your video.

6. After you have recorded or uploaded your video, return to the Blackboard and open the assignment.
7. Choose the option "Create Submission" and select the "Add Content" item (the circle with the plus sign).
8. Scroll down and select "Panopto Student Video Submission."
9. Select the button to the left of the video you would like to add and then use the "Submit" button on the bottom right to add the video link to the assignment submission space.
10. A link will be created in the submission space and you are ready to submit the assignment.
You have now completed the process of submitting a Panopto video as an assignment.
