Adding the Zoom Tool to your Blackboard Course

1. Open the course in which you would like to add the Zoom Tool.

2. Select the "Add Menu Item" icon at the top left of the side panel (the small circle with a plus sign), and select the "Tool Link" option.


3.  Give the link a name and use the dropdown menu to select "Zoom Live Class" tool.
Make sure you check "Available to Users" so the students will see your Zoom link.
Click "Submit" to add the tool to the left side panel.


4. Locate the new Panopto tool and open it.
New tools always load at the bottom of the left side panel.

You have now connected Zoom to your Blackboard course.
This tool allows you easily schedule, access, and start meetings in the course it is connected to.
Additionally, students can use the Zoom link to access and join your meetings by simply clicking a "Join" button.

You can add the Zoom tool to as many classes as you have available.
